Tested working, 2017 shift to park fix. A little over a month ago, I made a video showing how I adjusted the springs inside the shifter in an attempt to fix the shift to park issue. It seemed to help a little, but it did not last. So I was determined to find a true, lasting fix or a workaround.What I have found works to get around it are 2 things -- 1) Keep your foot on the brake until after you shut the engine off. Also, pressing the brake while you jiggle the shifter can help too. Or 2) exercise the shifter from park to low and back 3 or 4 times.
